Cherry-Picked Evidence
Cherry-picked evidence means showcasing the one study, one outlier patient, or one preprint that supports the pitch while quietly skipping the systematic reviews and replications that do not. It is technically citing something, just never the parts that complicate the story.
How it shows up in Doc Bro marketing
Expect a single dramatic statistic pulled out of context, a rodent study presented as settled human science, or "a study proved it" with no link, no sample size, and no mention of the studies that found nothing. The citation is decoration, not support.
